SAP GUI fot Java consuming a lot of memory

Hi,

I have a MacBook Pro 15" with 256 gb SDD, 8gb RAM and i7 quad-core of 2 GHz.

My version of SAP GUI for Java is 7.30 rev 9 and he is consuming a lot of RAM memory! This is normal? I thought about reinstalling it, does it worth it? Will change anything?
