Hi Experts,
How can I translate the button texts and label texts in flavour to French .
I checked the link and followed the steps

But I could see that the translation only happened to the flavor but not texts of buttons.

I am on windows 8.1 64bit
I installed SAPGUI 7.4 but the saplogon.ini file is not working.
I read one some forum threads and tried the following:
1 - Reinstalling the SAPGUI after placing the saplogon.ini in given path
Steps for reinstalling - goto control panel, uninstall all the SAP entries one by one, delete SAP folder created in program files
2 - Reinstalling the SAPGUI only, excluding the NWBC and other options because I read that due to nwbc the saplogon.ini is not read
I have restarted the laptop after each reinstallation process
it has taken taking too much time and still not working.
kindly help if you have seen the same problem.

I've build 2 different flavors for the same transaction (QM01) with scripting inside.
From a menu, I would like to have 2 button which jump to QM01 with a specific flavor.
I looked everywhere but can't find a way to put the selected flavor behind the menu button.
When I use the command Switch.idflavors, it's called before the QM01.
How to achieve to call the QM01 and then switch flavors automatically?

I am not able to Hide the Menu bar and the SAP Easy Access label on the top of the screen.
i am currently using Personas 3.0 SP3 Version which is released recently.

I am writing to you for help to solve a problem we are having with the system,
We implemented Screen Personas 3.0 on the NWP1 transaction, the specific problem is that every time data is entered a jump occurs positioning the cursor at the start of the screen, this occurs with every refresh appears in the system.
A test mode you added a .SetFocus (); a part of the screen, but this caused a dump.
Someone knows why this movement occurs ?. And how could help it ?.

Hi!
We have run into an issue with transporting personas roles and flavor assignments.
We have change flavor assignments to role in Dev system and transported the role and the flavor to Q system, but in Q system still the old flavor assignment is showing.

I had some trouble with the corporate colors since we have updated to 7.42 Kernel patch 410 Screen Personas 3.0 SP03. When i choose it, save and exit the edit mode the color (e.g. from a button) is set to default.
Is it a bug or a mistake from me ?

Hi,
There is a function, myLib(), defined in a script A in screen A, and I want to call this function from script B in screen B.
I experienced that sometimes personas works, but sometimes it reported that the lib function is undefined. Why?
When I use the script id, do I have to add screen number or tcode as well?
I also experienced that some other event was triggered in such way.

In the change vendor master data (XK02 Transaction), Tax Withholding screen, Withholding Tax Country field…
When user clicks on the drop-down for WH Tax Country, clicks title Description to sort countries alphabetically, something is not happening correctly with the sort….because the country that populates the field is often NOT the country the user selected.
Example:
1) When I first go to the drop-down, note the country code for Belize is BH (which is correct).
2) Now I click the Description column to sort countries by name.
3) Then I choose Belize BH.
4) But BE populates to the field, not BH.
This happens every time and only on SAP GUI 730, not in 720 or in 740. Could you kindly let me know if there's any note released by SAP to fix this.

Dear colleagues,
I would like to add temporarily a new SAP system to my SAP logon pad.
The problem is that current saplogon.ini file is managed centrally from a directory where users have no change access.
I need to find out how to point for another saplogon.ini file from my Desktop for example to be able to add a new SAP system.
I remember there is another SAP file that determined the place from where the .ini file is read.

We applied SP3 and then the first time editing a flavor, then saving, the flavor name still exists but running the flavor, it appears as the standard transaction. Subsequently learned that there is a known issue that causes "data loss" and we need to apply the latest note version to fix Is this the same issue that I have experienced? Is there any way to recover the flavor beyond a client restore?

Due to the way that Personas renders the screen with tab merging, fields do no appear until mandatory fields are entered. I am looking for a solution that would not have me create 20 fields with labels to make it have the appearance of the actual fields.
I have created a script that will populate a field with text attached to onLoad screen event. Is it possible to attach a script to an event that will blank out the aforementioned text on focus?

i am working on Personas 2.0 in our system. and i am working with VA01.
i know that we can merge tabs. can we merge pages? page 2 data in page1 or page 1 data to page2 ?
example....After entering into VA01, i would like to bring GRID of line item block from Page2 to first page of VA01. is this feasible?

Hi,
I have 'Fiorinized' the MIGO transaction with personas & added it to the Fiori Launchpad.
So far so good.
The only issue i have now is the back button.
In most tutorials they use the standard back button & change the icon to a more Fiori look.
The problem is that when you click the back button you end up in the start transaction of SAP (SMEN).
The wanted behavior should be that the (new) tab where the MIGO was openend, is closed.
I tried through scripting with window.close & a few other variants, but I don't get it working.
Any ideas on how to tackle this?

I am experiencing the problem that the personas "P" icon is not visible in the upper left corner of the WinGUI. We are using Screen Personas 3.0 SP 2 and I have already created several flavors. Does anyone know where the Problem might be?

Any ideas as to why Nwsapsetup.exe hangs on client machine when ran from a batch file. I have noticed more than one nwsapsetup.exe running in the task area on the client, when i end all but one the installation starts.

Dear All,
I know there was couple discussion threads on how to get hour glass / spinning wheel / three dots for long running scripts in a transaction. Our requirement is to create Physical Inv documents (MI31) automatically based on the selection variants. This almost takes 3 - 4 minutes to create the documents. Meanwhile there is no indication in the personas screen that the script is running. Users are getting confused if the browser is frozen or is there any issue in the screen as it does nothing.
Is there any possible work around to notify the user on long running scripts in the buttons event?

I have built a flavor for IW32, merging several tabs including 'Components'.
So in my first screen, I have 'Components' as well as other buttons related to it. As below.
In the original screen, when I click on a Component and hit 'Delete' button, a pop up opens asking for confirmation. But currently when I hit the delete button, nothing happens ( no pop-up). What I doubt is that the pop-up is somewhere in the component tab, and so not displaying. (as I am no longer in that tab).
So question is how can I get this pop-up in my flavor so that deletion works?

Does anyone have idea why SAP GUI suddenly stop working while connected to network? if I disconnect the network, I can launch the gui pad without problem but once connected to network from home or from office, sap gui cannot open; double click it, one see the cursor spinning a few seconds, then nothing happens. I got my service desk reinstalled the SAP gui 7.30 but issue is not fixed. We tried to reinstall certificate, Java JRE. I tried java 7 and 8, nothing works. Is there anyone experienced the same issue?
I saw there is a thread in 2013 with the same issue but it was not answered.

I have personalised the FV60 screen using SAP screen personas 3.0 sp02, I want to change the tab index as shown in the below figure. I have followed the steps mentioned in https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/Img/How+to+change+the+tab-key+sequence+after+re-ordering+fields but no success. Please suggest what can be done.
